SUMMARY:Anoka Tech - Career Exploration Days
DESCRIPTION:Career Exploration Days\nFriday\, October 2\, 2026 \nFriday\, November 13\, 2026 \n10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. \nNearly 600 students will participate each day in an interactive exploration of career and educational opportunities. \nBefore attending\, students will complete an assessment to help identify their areas of interest. During the event\, they will rotate through short\, hands-on presentations representing a variety of career fields. \nThe experience is designed to introduce students to careers they may not have previously considered and help them make informed decisions before registering for high school classes in December. Students will also experience the hands-on learning\, technical programs\, and laboratory environments available through technical education.

DESCRIPTION:The MnSTA Conference on Science Education brings science educators together for professional development\, collaboration and practical ideas they can bring back to their classrooms. \nThe 2026 conference theme\, “Evaluating Science Learning: Where We’ve Been and Where We’re Going\,” will explore modern assessment practices that move beyond traditional written tests.
