Career advocacy in AFNR involves promoting and supporting individuals in pursuing fulfilling and impactful careers within these sectors. It encompasses guiding individuals through educational and professional pathways and showcasing diverse opportunities. We work to bridge the gap between education and industry, helping individuals develop the skills and knowledge needed for success in agriculture, food production, and natural resource management. Through mentorship, networking, and educational programs, career advocacy aims to empower individuals to contribute to the sustainable development of these vital sectors, ensuring a resilient and thriving future for agriculture, food, and natural resources. We do it through Technology Trailer, Classroom Visits, Career Events and Reverse College Fair. Two websites help with advocacy www.agcentric.org and www.minnstate.edu/careersinAFNR
